Working in the People Team

The People team is at the heart of making sure all of our employees have a fantastic employee experience and that Open Cosmos remains a Great Place to Work!

We provide support to the business through the whole employee life cycle focusing on keeping the OC team highly engaged and attracting high calibre people to our open roles.

What will you be doing?

This is a broad role that enables you to partner on all operational aspects of the full employee life cycle whilst contributing to our global people strategy.

OC is in full growth mode so there will be a strong focus on recruitment (~50%), ensuring candidates have a great experience from the moment they see our job ad right through to the offer and into onboarding.

You'll also be supporting set up of UK policies and documentation, enabling managers, delivering People focused training as well as a multitude of other projects.

What you need to be successful:

• You’ll be communicating a lot, so be confident in articulating yourself well particularly to candidates and employees at all levels!

• You’ll have a good appreciation of best practice within the HR profession and how to apply this in a company trying to scale

• You’ll have strong practical knowledge of UK employment law
  

• You’ll have good comprehension of HRIS, previous access to Bamboo would be beneficial
