What You’ll Do:
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Executive to join our Finance team. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Accounts Payable, and will be responsible for carrying out Accounts Payable processes.
Responsibilities include:
• Carry out payment checking processes by matching invoices with orders/contracts; where necessary, match with evidence of receipts of good/services
• Check for accuracy of invoicing by vendors, tax calculations, discounts and net payable
• Post payment entries and put up for approval of Senior Manager
• Make necessary accounting entries by allocating invoices to the cost centre, expense or asset account, or matching to a Purchase Order
• Engage internally within the organisation and externally with vendors for resolving queries
• Maintain integrity of payment processes and controls
What it Takes:
• Proven previous experience of Accounts Payable processes
• Diligent, numerate and excellent attention to detail.
• Be commercially minded with ability to deliver a high level of service
• Detailed knowledge of Accounting and ERP systems.
• Competent user of Excel
• Ability to work efficiently with tight deadlines
