The Role
The Configuration Specialist is an expert role responsible for delivering configuration and localization for the Qapter suite of products. Reporting to the Configuration Team Lead, this position can be filled at a junior or senior level and offers a potential career development path from other Professional Services teams. The role involves analyzing configuration requests and delivering optimal solutions while working independently and efficiently. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating closely with the configuration team and colleagues in Professional Services and Product & Development.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver configurations and localizations for the Qapter suite of products.
- Utilize analytical skills and programming experience to solve problems and deliver customizations.
- Analyze issues in a methodical way to present the best outcomes for delivery, at pace and with quality.
- Manage multiple projects in parallel, ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with members of your team and other departments to achieve project goals.
- Maintain documentation and track progress in tools like JIRA and Confluence.
What You’ll Bring
- 2-3 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in applying knowledge of programming languages, programmatic, and automated solutions to solving real-world problems.
- Knowledge of XML, key/value pairs, conditional statements and expressions, and concepts of inheritance and precedence.
- Experience with working with and using tools such as SOAP UI and Postman to interact with APIs.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on delivering effective solutions without unnecessary complexity.
- Excellent time management and self-organization abilities to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of responsibility.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
