The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and analytically curious Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis in a fast-paced SaaS environment. This role is designed for recent graduates who have some prior exposure to finance through internships, co-ops, or early-career roles and are ready to contribute meaningfully from day one.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working with data. You’ll partner closely with FP&A, Accounting, and Rev Ops to support core financial processes while building strong technical and business fundamentals. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and visibility into how financial insights drive real business decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities under the guidance of senior analysts and managers.
- Analyze financial and operational data to track KPIs, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Assist with monthly close and reporting activities, including variance analysis versus budget and forecast.
- Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and Revenue Operations to ensure data accuracy and alignment of assumptions.
- Prepare clear and well-structured reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and update dashboards, models, and recurring reports to improve financial visibility.
- Support ad hoc analysis for business initiatives, cost reviews, and management requests.
What You’ll Bring
- 0–2 years of relevant experience through internships, co-ops, or early-career roles in finance, accounting, consulting, or analytics.
- Strong academic foundation in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling); PowerPoint proficiency required.
- Exposure to SaaS or subscription-based business models is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with financial statements, budgeting concepts, and variance analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems, planning tools, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL) is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a desire to learn quickly.
- Clear communicator who can explain analysis in a structured, thoughtful way.
