Job Overview: The LoJack Field Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all field service operations on all LoJack launches and ongoing installations. This includes managing field technicians, ensuring high-quality installations of LoJack vehicle recovery systems, meeting customer satisfaction goals, and maintaining operational efficiency. The Field Manager acts as a liaison between customers, field personnel, and corporate operations to ensure alignment with company standards and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise, train, and support a team of field technicians responsible for installation, service, and troubleshooting of LoJack systems in vehicles.
· Recruit, onboard, and train new Field Technicians
· Monitor performance metrics and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs).
· Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective resolution of service issues and complaints.
· Plan and coordinate daily technician schedules to optimize efficiency and coverage. This includes booking all travel and hotel accommodations.
· Conduct regular field audits to ensure quality and safety compliance.
· Collaborate with sales and customer support teams to address service demands and operational improvements.
· Manage inventory and equipment tracking for assigned launches and ongoing technicians.
· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as LoJack company standards.
· Report on field activities, including technician productivity, installation success rates, and customer feedback.
· Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in field operations
Qualifications:
· 3–5 years of experience in field service operations, preferably in automotive, telematics, or security systems.
· Prior management or supervisory experience required.
· Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems is a requirement.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
· Ability to travel within assigned territory and work flexible hours as needed.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Familiarity with LoJack management systems, telematics, and related technologies is preferred.
