The Role
We are looking for a person who joins the Billing Team and will support us in our daily tasks.

The Billing Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the billing and AR department within an organization. The incumbent will ensure the team operates at the highest level of quality and productivity. The supervisor must exhibit high levels of integrity, and ethical behavior while being able to support organizational growth and development. They are responsible for setting and implementing accounts receivable policies, procedures, and ensuring compliance with internal and external accounting standards and regulations.

They are accountable for coaching, motivating, training, developing, and guiding employee performance through a variety of mechanisms. These include observations, metrics analysis, and feedback from customers, peers, management, and others.

What You Will Do

Lead, develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
Manage, analyze and report revenue to achieve operational excellence and track key performance indicators.

Ensure that the team operates in accordance with current operating procedures and company policies.

Ensure accuracy of billing.

Manage team resources and coordinate monthly workload to ensure timely and efficient support to assigned entities.

Play a leading role in billing targets and KPIs for the billing process.

Lead the implementation of new solutions and systems.

Acting as an escalation point for the team.

Managing people (performance, recruitment, development, promotions, recognition).

Shaping the highest level of service quality

Reporting and presenting team performance against established goals and KPIs.

Collaborate with other teams (Finance, R2R, IT, Financial Systems, AP, etc.) to stabilize operations.

Assist in the monthly closing process, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed accurately and promptly.

Analyze and resolve complex billing related, reporting and process issues.

Support the team in their daily duties as needed.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations.

Maintain productive coaching and motivation by working directly one-on-one with team members.

Provide management with updates on issues, key projects and department goals.

Collaborate with HR and interview candidates.

Partner with Human Resources and conduct candidate interviews as necessary.

May participate in disciplinary action of employees up to and including termination of employment.

May participate in matters related to unemployment compensation.

Must be able to work extended/flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc., if there is an emergency.

Assist Billing Manager with special projects.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in finance incl. 2-3 years in a supervisory role.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

Fluent in English, both written and verbal - must have

Fluent any other European language, both written and verbal - must have

Strong knowledge of billing principles, procedures, and legislation.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
