The Role

Reporting to the FP&A Director, the Sr. FP&A Analyst is the key finance role responsible for Finance Business support and FP&A for Solera’s businesses in Central & East Europe, you will have responsibility for the delivery and submission of the rolling forecasts and budgeting processes with focus on expenses and investment which you will be expected to not only manage, but challenge and develop further. You will be responsible for providing relevant and insightful analysis to the business and play a lead role in managing expenses across the region.

What You’ll Do

Working closely with business Sector Heads to ensure expense management and investment strategy align with business priorities

  • Develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders, including regional Managing Director as well as business Sector Heads.
  • Work with business Sector Heads to manage expenses and validate product and project investment business cases and prioritization
  • Play a lead role in defining and developing appropriate expense performance reporting.
  • Support delivery of forecasting & budgeting process
  • Ensure robust forecasts are in place, having challenged and interrogated the key inputs with relevant stakeholders
  • Drive the automation of forecasting and the removal of manual intervention
  • Lead the presentation of expense and investments to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Provide ad-hoc commercial analysis / information requests
  • With a solid understanding of underlying business processes, play a key role in the successful implementation of finance system transformation projects and Global accounting reporting changes
  • Support initiatives that drive business performance
  • Play a key role in challenging the status quo and develop innovative/creative solutions to improve processes

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant accountancy qualification
  • 3-5 years post qualified FP&A experience
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver process improvement and change management
  • Flexibility to travel up to 10%
  • Commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Influencing skills with an ability to explain complicated challenges to different areas of the business
  • Strong and proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize own workload, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Consistently works in an organized manner that ensures appropriate focus and delivery
  • Strong Excel and Financial planning system skills
  • Fluent in English
  • German language skills are nice to have
