Nomad Digital are currently on the look out for a Project Control Team Leader to join the business. This is a global role the Project Controlling team, supporting the business in driving accurate cost collection and driving margin improvements through the reporting and analysis of project costing.

This role would be a great fit for a high performing Finance Manager, with experience of project controlling, who is looking for their next challenge and is motivated to support the team through a period of transformation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the sales and bid teams in preparation of the bid cost models and service model pro formas.
  • Ownership of the Nomad pricing model
  • Review and challenge of assumptions and detail in cost build ups
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiency of bid processes, reporting and tools
  • Review of project forecasts vs as-sold costings
  • Overall understanding of O&M, Delivery and Service model projects across the group
  • Overall responsibility for Inventory, WIP and POA accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ownership of project margin review calendar and ensure adherence to
  • Ownership of project governance
  • Line management responsibility for a team of Global Project Accountants
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities which may be required from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Professional qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent
  • Degree preferred
  • Exposure to long term contract accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Experience with an ERP system desirable but not essential (NetSuite an advantage)
  • Experience of people management
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, and budgeting principle
