We’re looking for a Director of Product to lead a team of PMs building Niantic's next generation digital map and geospatial services. This is a foundational pillar to Niantic's strategy and vision for bringing to life spatial computing experiences that will make our world more accessible, engaging, and entertaining for everyone.

Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate a compelling product strategy and vision.
- Lead a team through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products.
- Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers.
- Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive team of product managers and product leaders.
- Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution.
- Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
- Understand Niantic's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
- Required in-office 2 days on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Design.
- 12+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design, user research, marketing and go-to-market teams.
- 5+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing individual contributors.
- Critical thinking and analytical leadership experience.
- Experience presenting to senior executive audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others.
- BA/BS in computer science, engineering, business administration or equivalent experience.
Plus If...
- Experience with geospatial, spatial computing or real-time 3D map solutions.
- Experience with computer vision or AR.
- Experience building developer products or services(SDKs).
The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $252,000 - $280,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
