Company Description

Job Description
To keep our teams moving fast and connected, we're looking for a hands-on IT Support Engineer to join our Sydney team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid helpdesk and Sys Admin experience to hit the ground running in a fast-moving, global tech company — supporting ~700 users across Australia, the US, Canada, and Poland.
🔹 What you'll be doing
You'll be the face of IT for our Sydney office — the first person our people turn to when something isn't working. Day to day that looks like:
- Managing and resolving helpdesk tickets (via Slack, ticketing system, and in person)
- New starter onboarding — PC setup, account provisioning, asset management
- Administering core platforms: Active Directory, Okta, Office 365, and MDM
- Supporting hardware and software across the office
- Identifying when a ticket is a symptom of something bigger — and acting on it
- Contributing to minor IT projects and process improvements when capacity allows
- Reviewing and maintaining IT documentation
Qualifications
🔹 What we're looking for
- 2+ years of IT support or systems administration experience
- Hands-on MDM experience (mobile device management — iOS/Android/macOS)
- Active Directory and Okta administration
- Office 365 and JIRA experience
- Strong communicator — equally comfortable with a nervous non-techie or a complex access issue
- A security-aware mindset — you think about the why behind a ticket, not just the fix
- Can-do attitude and ability to juggle a variable ticket queue in a lean team
Formal qualifications aren't required — we're hiring for experience and mindset. Any industry background is welcome; we care that you've worked in a 250+ user environment and know how to move fast without breaking things.
This role requires you to be on-site at our Barangaroo office a minimum of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
This role is open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, or those with full working rights in Australia for the duration of the contract.
