Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President, P&C Business Partnering, for the GTM, Product and P&C departments, the Senior Global People & Culture Business Partner will partner with the business globally and act as a consultant to align business objectives with management and employees. You will be responsible for adding value to the business by delivering support and coaching to management to contribute to effective business strategy implementation to enhance employee contribution to the business.
Responsible for developing the department level talent strategy for GTM, Product and the P&C teams, aligned to the overarching company strategy, to drive business outcomes. They are also responsible for the delivery of people and talent management processes and approaches to ensure we have the talent and capability required to achieve our annual metrics and plan. They actively participate in the departmental leadership teams as a strategic partner to the business on all things people.
They will partner with both regional and Global P&C Business Partners, Leads, People Ops, Talent Acquisition and Centers of Excellence’ to support operational business needs that contribute to divisional and organizational strategy.
- Support Executives and the SLT within the GTM, Product and P&C teams regarding culture matters by providing advice and coaching.
- Act as a positive change agent; to help lead change including culture change initiatives and processes through change management programs and overall support
- Partnering with People Ops across a variety of activities, such as Payroll and benefits, Onboarding, Policies, and Workplace Health & Safety
- Partner with the business to conduct regular people processes in line with agreed guidelines, policies and approaches
- Conduct regular Talent Planning sessions with SLT to identify and assess Talent, provide guidance on Succession plans and Development opportunities to help mitigate business risk and increase retention of top talent.
- Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Business Partners to build sourcing strategies and programs to attract Talent
- Work with Finance Business Partners and Executives to assist in managing Headcount and People related costs
- Consistently work on project Improvements where possible in the best interest of the company and to ensure efficiency, optimisation and cost savings.
- Diagnose operation gaps and risks to develop and maintain policies, procedures and programs are consistently created, monitored and align with business goals as well as comply with professional standards and legislation
- Ensure policies, procedures and general People programs are consistently created, monitored and align with business goals.
- Analyze people metrics and trends to provide meaningful insight in informing People Strategic and Operational activities
- Partner with the business to guide and coach our manager and employees to improve employee engagement, optimize individual and team capability and performance, and ensure attraction and retention of talent
- Lead and be part of cross-functional project work/OKRs.
Employee Relations
- Coach and guide managers to effectively performance management including
- Assisting line managers to review and challenge existing work practices, and seek opportunities for flexibility, cost savings and efficiencies.
- Mitigate risk in the business through partnering closely with leaders and understanding the business.
- Provide timely and accurate advice on diverse People management activities, policies, practices and processes
- Coaching line managers to manage within relevant employment legislation.
- Complete senior and/or complex exit interviews
- Take a solutions and problem solving lens to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree desired.
- 6+ yrs of experience in a P&C Business Partner/ Senior advisory position
- 4+ yrs of experience in a business partnering role supporting the GTM of fast paced tech company desired.
- Experience in a similar fast paced growth industry with highly technical leaders is preferred
- Deep understanding of US employment legislation, with experience in leading complex ER issues from identification to resolution
- Experience in diagnosing and rolling out organizational development programs targeted at improving alignment, capability, performance and culture
- Experience with change management through M&A is a plus

- Ability to coach and support managers from varying backgrounds
- Maintain documentation and record keeping, and meet deadlines
- Strong ability to build and manage strong working relationships across a range of stakeholders whilst maintaining confidentiality and discretion
- Experience using a wide range of information technology systems and software and proven ability to learn new systems with ease
- Excellent computer skills including advanced skills in Microsoft Office
