\nTo strengthen the security of our products and services, we are hiring a Senior Security Analyst ( Penetration Tester ) in our u-blox red team. You will have the opportunity to leverage your skills working in an international environment and being part of a multinational Corporate Security department.
In this role, you will analyze the security of u-blox products and services, verify the potential attacks by penetration testing and collaborate with Product Security Experts, testers and developers from across the globe.
This IoT security position is an excellent opportunity to apply a broad range of technical and analytic skills, support the development of secure products & services of u-blox, and help teams understand security threats.
This role reports to the Red Team Manager and is located in Lahore.

Your Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Perform penetration testing against u-blox hardware & software products, IoT firmware and services.
    • \n
  • Reverse engineering of firmware binaries and software applications.
    • \n
  • Firmware update/FOTA attacks.
    • \n
  • Perform penetration testing of application and communication protocols.
    • \n
  • Identify and exploit vulnerabilities identified in u-blox infrastructure or products.
    • \n
  • Perform risk assessment and create Pentest and Security Review ReportsResearch emerging security topics and new attack vectors
    • \n
  • Support the definition of the Product & Service Security Roadmap
    • \n
  • Developing security tests to improve DevSecOps
    • \n
  • Work independently to meet project deadlines and coordinate with stakeholders to define scope and plan timelines.
    • \n

Your Skills and Experience
 \n
    \n
  • Degree in Computer Science or Comparable Fields, specific security certifications would be a plus (e.g. CEH, OSCP,…)
    • \n
  • Min. 5 years of penetration testing / red team experience
    • \n
  • Min. 2 years of specific experience in IoT / embedded devices security, ideally with an electronics industry background
    • \n
  • Practical knowledge of interfaces like JTAG, UART, SPI, I2C
    • \n
  • Practical knowledge of Wireless communication protocols (WIFI, MQTT, COAP, GNSS and BLE)
    • \n
  • Familiarity with firmware security testing is essential.
    • \n
  • Experience with AWS security would be considered a plus.
    • \n
  • Hands-on track in reverse engineering, using and writing tools for penetration testing.
    • \n
  • A self-motivated, strong team player and capable of coordinating with stakeholders to define the scope and timelines of tasks.
    • \n
  • Able to handle multitasking within a fast-moving environment.
    • \n
  • Very good English skills, both spoken and written.
    • \n
