Job Summary:
Strategic acquisitions continue to be a fundamental driver of Voyager’s growth, as the company seeks to build capabilities in advanced defense technology areas. As we bring new teams and capabilities into the platform, tight integration is essential to realizing value quickly and delivering for our customers.
Voyager is hiring an M&A Integration Director to lead integration planning and execution across the Voyager enterprise. This role is central to ensuring that newly acquired companies transition smoothly into our operating model, with particular emphasis on G&A functions, systems, compliance, and people. This role will work across corporate development, functional leaders, and acquired management teams to translate deal intent into execution.
This position is ideal for someone who excels in complex environments, communicates clearly, and can drive structured outcomes in a fast-moving, high-growth setting.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage detailed integration plans for each acquisition, with a focus on aligning core G&A processes, systems, and controls
- Support integration planning during diligence, identifying required workstreams, risks, and early synergy opportunities
- Partner closely with leadership teams of acquired businesses and spend time on-site during initial integration periods to ensure operational continuity and alignment with Voyager standards
- Develop integration playbooks, templates, and processes that create consistency across transactions
- Oversee integration of key functions including Finance, HR, IT, Security, Legal, Facilities, and other administrative operations
- Manage integration timelines, critical milestones, and cross-functional dependencies
- Coordinate with corporate development and business unit leaders to ensure integration priorities support broader strategic goals and longer-term value creation
- Lead change management efforts that bring acquired employees into Voyager’s culture and operating rhythms
- Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to track integration performance, synergy realization, and issue resolution
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to Voyager executive leadership
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in M&A integration, corporate development, management consulting, internal operations, investment banking, private equity portfolio operations or similar fields
- Proven ownership mindset and ability to manage several large-scale initiatives in parallel while driving clarity, accountability, and timely execution
- Direct experience leading post-acquisition integrations and driving change in technical, engineering, or manufacturing organizations
- Strong working knowledge of G&A functions such as HR, Security, Finance, Legal, IT, and corporate planning
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to balance analytical, process-driven integration work with people-centric problem solving
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have the ability to travel 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with government contracting requirements, ITAR/EAR regulations, and security compliance preferred
- Experience working in Aerospace & Defense or Industrials
