Job Summary: The Social Media Manager will be the driving force behind Voyager’s digital storytelling, developing and executing dynamic, differentiated strategies that cut through the noise and deliver measurable results. This role blends creativity and analytics, crafting compelling narratives that reflect Voyager’s pioneering spirit across platforms: LinkedIn, X, Reddit, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and creator, with the ability to transform complex aerospace and defense innovation into scroll-stopping content, drive engagement with data-backed insights, and build an active community of advocates and enthusiasts. Success in this role will be defined by growth in audiences across channels, engagement and conversion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement the company’s social media strategy.
- Bring brand and capabilities to life through content and campaigns tailored for each platform's best practices.
- Work cross-functionally with the MarCom team and lines of business to deliver campaigns, including organic content and paid media.
- Partner with the design lead to develop distinct, on-brand content for owned channels, including the website and social media.
- Grow Voyager’s audience and strengthen audience engagement across channels.
- Deliver credible social ROI effectiveness metrics to demonstrate the positive impact of these initiatives on the brand and business.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven track record of crafting and executing impactful social strategies across Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
- Demonstrated implementation of SEO, keyword research and online marketing channels to optimize content and campaigns.
- Ability to scale engaged audiences and connect results to business impact in a compelling way for dynamic audiences across platforms.
- Clear vision and differentiated point of view to contribute new perspectives for fueling the brand and social communities.
- Ability to flex between strategic and tactical, creative and analytical approaches.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- A minimum of 5-8 years of exclusive social media experience in a full-time role.
- A degree in marketing, communications or a related field, with a strong foundation in digital marketing and strategic thinking.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000
