The incredible opportunity
We are hiring a Director, Network Operations to join us in our Adelaide office.
With proven experience in telecommunications, IoT, satellite (NewSpace), or cloud-based networks, you’ll lead the unification of internal and customer-facing operations to ensure the seamless performance of our global IoT network.
Reporting to the Chief Network Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering on Myriota’s growth strategy and service excellence.
How you will drive success:
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to operations teams to drive service excellence aligned with customer and business expectations.
- Oversee the integration and configuration of new features and developments, ensuring minimal disruption, high compatibility, and smooth service delivery.
- Harmonise network systems and architectures across varying standards where possible to support scalability and reliability.
- Support the execution of commercial roaming agreements with third-party network providers.
- Act as a custodian for Myriota’s cybersecurity, ICT, and network quality assurance.
- Manage the financial health of the networks, including opex, downtime, billing, and future capacity planning.
- Lead, inspire, and retain a high-performing, globally distributed team.
What we value in you:
- Proven experience in telecoms, IoT, satellite (NewSpace), or cloud-based networks
- Hands-on track record in scaling complex networks and managing operational risk
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience in network/cloud operations
- Familiarity with enterprise comms, wireless, or major telecom networks
- Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of business, ICT, and cybersecurity
- Skilled at building and leading high-performing, cross-timezone teams
- Clear communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Confident managing budgets and engaging in commercial discussions
- A driven self-starter with energy to lead and scale impactful technology
