The opportunity

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer with a strong background in embedded systems, hardware integration, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. In this role, you will support customers by providing expert guidance on satellite communication solutions, ensuring seamless hardware and firmware integration.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager you will lead efforts in providing Myriota customers with technical guidance for the installation, operation, and maintenance of Myriota’s satellite communication solutions

How you will drive success:

• develop deep expertise in debugging and optimizing Myriota’s satellite-enabled IoT solutions, including embedded firmware, hardware integration, wireless protocols, and cloud connectivity.
• offer timely and effective technical support both remotely and on site across a range of complexity
• collaborate with cross functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues as required
• support sales efforts by addressing technical questions and contributing to tailored solutions and proposals
• Develop, deliver and maintain customer support materials including but not limited to Myriota deployment & migration guides, engineering guides such as battery estimator, API, Antenna design, datasheets and support site content
• Deliver training sessions
• Conduct product installation as required
• Conduct rigorous testing of products in real-world scenarios, providing feedback for ongoing product development.

What we value in you:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of electronics and firmware development, ability to read schematics
• Field experience with installation, failure modes, and connector types
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Spanish/Portugese
• Customer centric with a demonstrable passion for engineering
• Strong technical acumen with experience in coding, hardware integration, and understanding of edge- network- cloud- apps- visualisation- tooling
• Familiarity with sensors and their interfaces
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows development environments
• Understanding of wireless network challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer centric with a demonstrable passion for engineering
