The incredible opportunity

Based in Australia, Latin America, or the US, you will manage the compliance obligations of Myriota's non-Australian subsidiaries, including US, Canada and Brazil, ensuring our operations meet international tax and regulatory standards. Your expertise will support the Commercial team in expanding into new markets while staying fully compliant, playing a key role in driving Myriota's global growth and managing relationships with external advisors.

How you will drive success:

Direct & Indirect Tax Obligations

• Ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including Income Tax, VAT/GST/Sales Tax, and Withholding Tax across non-AU subsidiaries.

Subject Matter Expert

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international compliance, supported by external advisors to navigate complex tax and regulatory landscapes.

External Advisor Relationship Manager

• Source, coordinate, and manage relationships with external advisors and regulatory authorities to ensure expert guidance on compliance matters.

Global Expansion

• Support business expansion by assessing tax implications of new markets and corporate structures, ensuring smooth and compliant market entry.

What we value in you:

• CA or CPA qualification
• Experience managing tax compliance in multi-national entities or within a global accounting firm
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Commercial) and external advisors
• Proven experience in successfully supporting market expansions into new regions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Proficient in G-Suite and Excel
