Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Test Technician to perform and maintain environmental testing for our electronics products. You will work closely with test engineering, production, and test teams to ensure quality, reliability, and manufacturability. Success in this role is measured by accurate and efficient testing, proper documentation, and reliable operation of test equipment.

Job Type: Hourly, Full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting up and operating vibe and thermal equipment (including equipment calibration/maintenance duties) and other related duties as required.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain environmental test equipment, including vibration tables, thermal chambers, and related equipment; perform routine calibration and maintenance.
  • Conduct functional, environmental, and reliability testing on electronic assemblies and finished products.
  • Identify test failures or equipment issues and assist in troubleshooting to support engineering and production teams.
  • Perform routine checks, maintenance, and reporting for test systems and support equipment.
  • Help ensure test throughput and scheduling targets are met while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a highly adaptive and iterative environment. Experience in aerospace, semiconductor, or electronic test environments.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player that has a service mentality and thrives in fast paced environments.
  • Ability to work independently and to reliably “get things done “, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Experience within a rapidly changing and growing environment.
  • Experience working with ERP, MRP, or MES systems.
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
  • Prolong sitting or standing for long periods of time, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, and crouching.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be able to use tools such as microscopes, for long periods.

Education and/or Experience

  • 2–3 years of test or systems experience, preferably in electronics or environmental testing.
  • Experience with automation in testing or developing test fixtures.
  • Familiarity with ERP, MRP, or MES systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolong sitting or standing for long periods of time, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, and crouching.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
