About the Role:

The Camera team plays a key role in providing competitive AI products for Motive. The camera system intern will have a chance to be involved with the latest Motive product design that supports business growth. You will report to the EE manager with a great mentor by our senior Camera Lead. You will collaborate with internal hardware teams, hardware partners, and cross-functional teams internally and externally.

This role will be required to work in our Neihu, Taipei office, providing 32 hours of service/week (Monday to Friday).

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with engineers to test the image/video quality of our products.

  • Help to improve the efficiency of benchmark and efficiency by developing the test scripts and automation.

  • Data collection for AI model training and AI model evaluation.

  • Support the field tests of our camera products.

  • Help to improve the automatic testing system of the camera lab.

  • Skill development for image processing and ISP tuning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Senior year undergraduate student, graduate student, or recent graduate in electrical/computer science/color science/photonic or other engineering related fields.

  • Basic knowledge of optoelectrical / electrical / image processing / color science concepts and tools (e.g. Python, Imatest, photoshop / lightroom, and lab equipment like oscilloscopes, power supply).

  • Some experience in photography and video editing is a plus, but not required.

  • Strong interest in hands-on experience and learning about testing complex systems.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from senior engineers.

  • Experience in 3D CAD tools or Arduino/Raspberry PI for projects would be a plus.
