Uberall is seeking a hybrid People Operations Generalist based in Cebu, Philippines, to be the primary HR point of contact for Filipino employees and external partners, supporting the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding in collaboration with the local Director of Operations and the global P&C team.
This role involves administrative tasks like managing HR records and documents, assisting with payroll and timekeeping, supporting local talent acquisition and training, and improving P&C processes, requiring experience in a global, distributed team environment, strong HR generalist knowledge, independence, emotional intelligence, and the ability to work flexible hours overlapping with US (ET) and Europe (CET) time zones, with expectation of around 2 days per week in the Cebu office.

Your responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for all Uberallers based in the Philippines, from a people & culture perspective
  • Handle the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance management and offboarding
  • Collaborate on global People & Culture programs and lead local People & Culture projects ensuring operational efficiencies are in place and a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Implement company policies, procedures and best practices to ensure compliance with Philippines labor laws and regulations
  • Organize, maintain, update employee records, internal databases and other software maintained by People Operations
  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, reference letters and other documents upon request
  • Assist in payroll, timekeeping & benefits administration
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior P&CBPs and Global People Ops to drive People Operations projects and enhance employee experience.
  • Support the Global Talent team in running local talent acquisition, employer branding and recruitment efforts
  • Liaise with external partners, like insurance, background check and benefits vendors
  • Support with any administrative tasks, shipping and equipment management as needed

Your profile:

  • 2-3+ years of work experience in human resources, ideally in a local or regional generalist role
  • Track record of operating within a global distributed team as key point of contact for their market
  • A team player with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and passion for continuous improvement of processes.
  • Knowledge in HRIS software and Google Suite tools and apps (sheets, docs, slides, etc)
  • Knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code and Regulations and government-mandated benefits
  • Fluent in English communication, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and maintain data privacy and protection.
  • BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field preferred
