Job Description:

This role will support Physical Design project activities multiple business units and product families. The product's focus is on 32-bit microprocessors, microcontrollers, and wireless design and implementation.

Job activities include:

  • Implement all aspects of physical design using place and route flows from netlist to GDSII using industry leading tools
  • Performing physical design verification steps, including DRC, LVS, and more
  • Collaboration with multiple teams across a geographically diverse company to achieve desired design goals

Requirements/Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a Masters Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and a strong engineering background.


Preferred skills:

  • Understand logic STA timing requirement (setup/hold/uncertainties)
  • Scripting skills in any programming language (preferably Perl, TCL, Python, and Shell) is a plus.
  • Basic design knowledge of RTL (VHDL/VERILOG) coding
  • Knowledge of logic synthesis concepts
  • Able to work independently under local project lead/supervisor mentorship
  • Excellent debugging and analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
