Administrative Assistant - Full-Time

METECS is an engineering company located just outside the gates of NASA’s Johnson Space Center. We are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team and play a key role in supporting our daily business operations. If you enjoy supporting others, managing multiple tasks, and creating a welcoming workspace, we’d love to hear from you. The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Reception & Office Support
- Answer phones, maintain reception logs, and handle mail distribution
- Assist with meeting and event setup, including scheduling, invitations, and food orders
- Greeting visitors and assisting with incoming deliveries
- Coordinate office repairs and maintenance
- Office supply ordering
- Maintain cleaning schedules, recycling, and daily inspections of office space
- Help organize warehouses and offsite storage areas
- Assist with filing, document management, and various office errands
- Coordinate shipping of equipment and incoming/outgoing packages
- Assist with order receiving, delivery tickets, and packaging
- Update purchasing logs and assist with PO reconciliation
- Maintain purchasing files and binders
- Strong prioritization, multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
- MS Office Suite experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Citizenship or lawful permanent resident required due to federal position.
