METECS is an engineering and applied technology company that provides high-fidelity simulation and software development for NASA's Johnson Space Center. We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Developer. In this position, you will join a team of software engineers to develop, integrate, and test flight software. Products will include human-rated software for NASA's Johnson Space Center in support of the Orion and Gateway vehicle products and custom software for commercial satellites and space vehicles.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency developing software applications in
  the C and Python languages
• Demonstrated proficiency developing software applications in a command-line Linux environment
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Must be comfortable working in an agile small-team environment
• Must be able to work on ITAR or export-controlled products
• Other duties as required

• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Engineering
• Experience with flight software development
• Experience developing in the cFS (core Flight System) framework.
• Applicable agile team leadership based on experience level
• Experience working in a modern software environment including use of
  command-line Git, continuous integration, devops, and unit testing
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting embedded software
• Experience configuring IP networking

Citizenship or lawful permanent resident required due to federal position.
