Reporting to the Embedded Software lead, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Develop/maintain kernel device drivers in Linux to interface with I2C/SPI/Uart peripherals and DTS configs
• Develop/maintain Linux user space applications to integrate device drivers
• Support Software driver bring-up of new baseband and Antenna hardware
• Support Software product integration with hardware and software teams
• Investigate hardware issues with software drivers and report to hardware development team
• Resolve and triage reported bugs in a timely manner
  
  

Suitable Candidates Will Ideally Have The Following Attributes

• BA. or Master Degree in Electronic/Computer Science Engineering, or similar education
• Strong experience/knowledge of embedded Linux software device driver development
• Experience and working knowledge of kernel, uboot and buildroot
• Strong hardware debugging experience/knowledge, able to use logic analysers, Oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers
• Experience in Jira and Gitlab
• Proven experience in program language in an embedded environment (C/C++)
• Excellent Interpersonal skills
• Knowledge on RF fundamentals and communications theory
• Independent, self-motivated, team player and multitasking capabilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
