Maxar Intelligence is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our People Technology team in Westminster, CO. This position reports to the Director of People Technology. We are expanding the scope of support provided by our team in the Workday Compensation, Benefits, and Absence modules and need someone to help support our users and drive the use of Workday in these areas. This position may be located remotely in the U.S. on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

  • Support Maxar’s People Technology roadmap through the evaluation and implementation of Workday functionality in Compensation, Benefits, and Absence.
  • Collaborate with members of the People Technology team to prioritize, troubleshoot, and escalate reported issues through our ticketing platform, Workday Help.
  • Support Workday semi-annual release activities through functional review and test execution. Proactively partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s) to plan for automatically available functionality.
  • Identify opportunities for process and operational improvements.
  • Drive change management and adoption through meticulous communication and documentation.

Minimum requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Minimum of 4 years supporting HR systems, processes and data management; 2 years supporting Workday Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and/or Absence.
  • Experience building a variety of Workday custom reports.
  • Understanding of Workday security and business process frameworks.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects along with day-to-day break/fix responsibilities.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel including a solid understanding of formulas.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team.

Nice to Have:

  • Successful completion of one or more of the following Workday-delivered trainings: Workday HCM Fundamentals, Benefits Fundamentals, Compensation Fundamentals, Advanced Compensation Fundamentals, Time Off Fundamentals, Leave of Absence Fundamentals.
    • Candidates with training history and/or Workday certifications should attach these along with their application.
  • Understanding of Workday CCB and other benefit vendor integrations.
  • Basic understanding of data privacy practices and regulations and discipline to work with highly confidential information.
  • Exceptional people skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$83,000.00 - $137,000.00 annually.
