Maxar is seeking energetic, enthusiastic and motivated Software Engineering Interns to join our 2024 Summer Internship Program. In this role, you will be joining a rapidly-growing, dynamic team of engineers who are constantly developing new features in response to an evolving set of customer requirements, while at the same time ensuring that deployed systems continue to meet all of the customer’s operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the talented team to help build and deploy new features

• Work in a collaborative team environment, co-design and co-implement key applications and components

Minimum Requirements:

• US citizenship

• Must be a rising Sophomore or higher pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field

• Familiar with Java, Python or other scripting languages

• Knowledge of current software development practices and tools (Agile, Git, Gradle, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Math and/or Physics background

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
