The Role
You’ll own the customer-facing experience that makes AI-driven building risk intelligence usable for Fortune 500 insurers. You’ll transform structural engineering insights into intuitive dashboards and workflows that directly shape billion-dollar underwriting decisions. As an early engineer, you’ll work side-by-side with our founders and senior product/engineering leaders to rapidly iterate on interfaces that will determine whether major carriers adopt our platform.
What You’ll Do
Design and build enterprise-grade dashboards that process millions of property records and deliver real-time insights to underwriters.
Create sophisticated visualizations — charts, maps, and analytics — that make complex engineering data clear and actionable.
Architect scalable frontend systems to support multiple enterprise customer deployments.
Collaborate daily with product designers, engineers, and founders on product strategy and interface design.
Move fast: prototype, iterate, and refine based on customer feedback.
Who You Are
0–5 years of software development experience (1–3 years ideal). Exceptional new grads welcome.
Strong CS fundamentals (BS in Computer Science or equivalent).
Skilled in React.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend architectures.
Curious and AI-first: you already use tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot to accelerate development.
Thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
Nice to Have
Python backend/API experience.
Cloud (AWS/GCP) and CI/CD familiarity.
Interest in climate resilience, structural engineering, or risk modeling.
