What You'll Do
Manage the AP function, including processing accounts payable transactions in a timely manner (including wires, checks, and ACH payments), responding to vendor inquiries, and vendor onboarding.
Assist in streamlining current Accounts Payable processes.
Enter and review all vendor bills to ensure proper general ledger and department coding and ensure appropriate internal approvals are being obtained in our accounting systems.
Accurately match invoices to purchase orders.
Maintain all vendor records including Tax Forms and Bank Information.
Implement and manage a ticketing system (Zendesk) to manage requests.
Prepare weekly check run reports and initiate payments.
Manage Intercompany transfers and multi-currency transactions.
Oversee 1099 Reporting and B-Notice.
Manage Personal Reimbursements and Corporate Cards (AMEX and MasterCard).
Partner with Controller to improve processes and controls.
Train internal and external departments to use Procurement and Expense systems.
Review, reconcile and/or manage month-end close processes – AP Aging and Register, AP Sub-Ledger and Accrued Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation and CC Reconciliation.
Book Accruals and review GLs for Flux MoM and QoQ.
Assist with Audit and other requests Accounting Systems: NetSuite, Coupa, MineralTree, Floqast Other Systems: Zendesk, MS Office.
Review and approve employee expense reports ensuring expenses are following T&E policy.
Provide support for year-end financial statement audit.
Assist with ad-hoc projects, as needed.
What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role
Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business or related field and 4 years of accounting experience OR Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business or related field and 2 years of accounting experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of each of the following:
Procurement and Accounting Software such as Coupa, Floqast, NetSuite and/or other ERP accounting software.
1099 processing.
Applying Excel VLOOKUP/pivot tables.
GAAP and/or financial statement presentation.
Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience.
Position eligible for up to 100% telecommuting; may be performed from anywhere within the US.

Our annual base compensation for this role ranges from $104,125 - $140,875 for most US locations and 5% to 10% higher for US locations with a higher cost of labor. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location.
