What we offer
We have current opportunities for Robotics Tests and Software Engineer interns, during Summer, or Autumn 2024. We are looking for a university student or recent graduate who has demonstrated experience in C or C++ and Python development and is passionate about solving challenging problems. Experience in the space industry is not necessary, in fact, we want you to bring a fresh perspective to solving the challenge of space robot arms (don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of space expert help.
Your work will focus on testing of our robotic arms from A.. Z. This includes building up laboratory infrastructure, developing software to move, test and qualify our robotic arms.
Job Responsibilities
• Interfacing/testing/debugging of real hardware.
• Interfacing/testing/debugging of robotics software
• Supporting tasks for maintaining our code base
Duration
We will provide you with an internship of approximately 6 months during which you will be performing hands-on meaningful projects aligned with our company goals and objectives. Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a nationally accredited University or College, pursuing either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or related field or a recent graduate. As part of our selection criteria, we will be reviewing your portfolios, considering any formal training, lab work, research papers compiled, any prior internships, and any related work experience.
Key Skills Required
Have a variety of Software Engineer or related classroom and practical experience where you have demonstrated experience in version control ,(e.g git), experience in software testing (e.g. GTest, Pytest), projects using embedded systems, ROS, Python/C++, internships and other collegiate activities demonstrating these skills.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the space industry, have a high level of energy, a drive to work in a team/collaborative environment and a desire to excel in all aspects of your work.
Location
Must be willing to commute to our Luxembourg facility for this position.
