What we offer:
We have current opportunities for Mechanical Design Engineering Interns for Summer, or Autumn 2024.
We are looking for talented, driven interns to support and assist our development of robotic arms for space. We want engineers who can understand complex mechanical systems, and then turn those designs into reality. You will use CAD and design skills to produce prototypes, assembly jigs, test setups and more to help us quantify and qualify our robots and their subsystems. You should be happy getting your hands dirty during assembly, and some experience with manufacturing is a plus. You take pride in your work and demonstrate attention to detail in everything you do. Ideal candidates enjoy working independently while being part of a diverse multidisciplinary team creating a challenging product.
Duration:
We will provide you with an internship that will last approximately 6 months during which you will be performing hands-on meaningful projects aligned with our company goals and objectives. This opportunity will fully immerse you in our technology and culture for an invaluable and rewarding experience. Qualification:
Currently enrolled in a nationally accredited University or College, pursuing either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent) or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent.

As part of our selection criteria, we will be reviewing your portfolios, considering any formal training, lab work, research papers compiled, any prior internships, and any related work experience.
Key Skills Required:
Have a variety of Mechanical Design Engineer classroom and practical experience where you have demonstrated your outstanding work by the results of your coursework or portfolios, projects, lab work, workshops, internships and other collegiate activities.

For Mechanical Design Engineer candidates, we are looking for interns who have Course work and understanding "basic" in the following:
• Demonstrated CAD skills
• Creative problem solving
• Passion for tinkering and building
• Fast learner in dynamic environments
• Fluency in English
Preferred:
• Hands on experience in building and assembly mechanical devices
• Should be able to provide a portfolio of completed projects/video links.

Location:
