You’ll Get To
Drive cross-geo collaboration: Partner day to day with Product Managers and Engineering teams in India, while collaborating closely with a US-based design team to deliver cohesive, high-quality experiences across products.
Evangelize design decisions: Communicate concepts and designs to diverse audiences through ad hoc and formal presentations, using storytelling, artifacts, and rationale to build alignment and accelerate delivery.
Lead by design: Define personas, workflows, and journeys grounded in research, data, and a clear point of view, translating ambiguous problem spaces into crisp experience strategies.
Plan and conduct research: Independently execute research across multiple aspects of product experiences, including usability studies, interviews, contextual inquiry, surveys, benchmark studies, and experimentation (A/B tests), and incorporate findings into design decisions.
Use data to inform design: Collect and interpret qualitative and quantitative signals (including analytics and server logs) to understand user behavior, prioritize opportunities, and validate outcomes.
Influence product direction: Partner with Product to shape goals, requirements, and roadmaps, ensuring user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints are balanced and clear.
Design simple solutions to complex workflows: Analyze real user behavior and operational realities to reduce complexity, improve clarity, and optimize end-to-end flows.
Run effective workshops: Create and lead cross-functional workshops with Product and Engineering that produce clear decisions, ownership, and follow-up execution plans.
Facilitate healthy team dynamics: Create a trusting environment where ideas are explored openly and debate stays constructive, enabling faster decision-making across time zones.
Be the user advocate: Ensure user needs are represented in tradeoffs, prioritization, and implementation details, especially during delivery and iteration.
Build durable UX knowledge: Contribute to a shared understanding of users through maintained personas, journey maps, research repositories, and usability findings that can be reused across teams.

What You Need
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in user experience design, preferably on complex workflows and enterprise or B2B products.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showing UX-focused work, including problem framing, process, and outcomes, with clean, uncluttered design and clear rationale.
Core UX skills: Strong command of use cases, user flows, information architecture, interaction design, and usability principles.
Research and synthesis: Demonstrated ability to plan research, synthesize insights, and translate findings into actionable design decisions.
Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers, influence direction, and navigate tradeoffs while maintaining a high bar for user experience.
Executive and stakeholder communication: Ability to present work clearly to senior stakeholders, explain decisions, and use data to support recommendations.
Agile delivery: Experience working in quickly iterative environments, including clarifying requirements, scoping work, and supporting implementation.
Design craft and prototyping: Demonstrated ability to create personas, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and detailed interaction specs suitable for engineering handoff.
Tools: Proficiency with Figma and familiarity with research and delivery tools such as Dovetail and Jira.
Nice to Have
Experience working across time zones with distributed teams and establishing lightweight operating rhythms (handoffs, async critiques, decision logs).
Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
Experience working with analytics instrumentation and experimentation frameworks.
Experience designing for operational or workflow-heavy systems (alerts, review queues, scoring, configuration).
How We Work (Collaboration Expectations)
You will collaborate daily with India-based Product and Engineering partners to shape scope and deliver iteratively.
You will participate in regular reviews, critiques, and alignment sessions with the US design team to ensure consistency, shared standards, and design system adherence.
Success requires strong async communication, clear documentation, and proactive stakeholder management across geographies.
