Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you’ll work with industry leading Lytx Safety Software, which manages massive amounts of video and data collected from over 700,000 vehicles worldwide and ensures the best possible outcomes by identifying behaviours and events that impact safety. Be responsible for building solutions that collect, organize, and present information for tracking the safety and efficiency of commercial transportation drivers and fleets. Using Video Telematics, Machine Vision, and AI to derive intelligent insights for all devices and vehicles on our network, you’ll help accelerate our software. Doesn’t that sound exciting?

You’ll Get To:

• Rapidly prototype, deploy, and test innovative solutions within our marketsthat enhances our position.
• Provide state-of-the-art user experiences across mobile and desktop solutions
• Build out scalable solutions to manage events and real-time status of close to a million independent devices
• Own and operate scalable production services and user interface
• Passionate about learning and helping others
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance our platform

What You’ll Need:

• BE/BTech in Computer Science/Engineering
• Demonstrated industry work experience utilizing Object OrientedDesign patterns to design and implement web based software solutions.
• Solid Hands-on coding skills
• 1+ years of experience preferably with C#, Dot Net Ecosystem.
• 1+ years of experience in Entity Framework, AWS Cloud or any AI specific Tools like Copilot, etc.
• 1+ years implementing Unit Testing and software quality best practices.
• Hands-On Experience working with Angular framework, Kafka.
• 1+ years experience developing web services such as RESTful API's etc.
• 1+ years of experience creating databases preferably with MS SQL or other technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL SQL, MongoDB etc.
• A passion for working on all tiers (web, services, data)
• Experience working with Agile teams
• Contributor to successful product releases
