The Channel Sales Leader, Americas is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing, executing, and managing the overall partnership and channel program within the region. This role focuses on accelerating sales through effective channel strategies, building new partnerships, and developing existing ones. Success in this position requires deep expertise in business development, channel sales, and leadership, with the ability to balance hands-on involvement in key accounts and high-level strategic planning.

What you’ll do:

Channel Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement a regional channel sales strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Establish scalable processes to build and sustain effective sales channels.
  • Own the strategy and execution for achieving significant year-over-year growth in domestic indirect sales.
  • Identify new business development opportunities, evaluate, and negotiate agreements with partners.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing channel sales team.
  • Provide guidance on partner enablement, account planning, and conflict resolution.
  • Motivate and support the team to scale for future growth while achieving aggressive targets.
  • Exceptional relationship-building abilities, including influencing and motivating decision-makers.
  • Effective influencer and communicator across diverse geographies and constituencies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and foster internal alignment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing, Training, Enablement, Product, Support, and Operations teams to align strategies and initiatives.
  • Engage cross-department functions internally and externally to create awareness, enablement, legal frameworks, and marketing presence to ensure strategic partnership success.
  • Serve as a key communicator of market needs and collaborate on long-term strategies.

Partner Engagement and Growth

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, acting as a trusted advisor to help them grow their businesses.
  • Advise reseller partners on the value of partnerships, engaging with sales teams to drive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with partners to deliver top-line growth, customizing solutions based on their specific needs.
  • Ensure success in major accounts while scaling efforts to develop all partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on developing long-term partnerships and driving mutual growth.
  • Monitor financial targets, team performance, and partner outcomes against strategic milestones.
  • Analyze metrics, provide actionable insights, and report progress to executive leadership.
  • Develop forecasts and strategic plans to anticipate future growth needs over 2-6 quarters.

You’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, partner/VAR management, or channel sales in B2B markets, with prior experience in video telematics preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience building channels within SaaS or software verticals, managing complex partner relationships.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of sales professionals with a track record of scaling teams and achieving results.
  • Strong negotiation and diplomacy skills with the ability to address complex sales partnerships.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic plans, manage forecasts, and deliver customized partner solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to anticipate and understand partners’ business needs.
  • Skilled at navigating technical and non-technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%, including internationally.

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is:

$184,000.00 - $232,000.00
