As a Procurement Specialist at Lytx, you will manage the purchasing of Lytx video telematics products and related accessories from our global supply base. Successful applicants will have experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain. This individual will use ERP systems to manage the end-to-end Purchase Order cycle. You will work cross-functionally with internal partners to ensure that hardware inventory targets are met, payment issues are resolved, and supplier performance metrics are met. The successful candidate will be joining a fast-paced, high-growth company and will drive the ongoing development and improvement of the Supply Chain team and the delivery and support of our products and services.

You’ll Get To:

  • Place, track, and handle purchase orders for all outsourced Lytx hardware products and accessories.
  • Coordinate and partner cross-functionally with planning, logistics, and accounting teams on procure to pay activities and resolution of any procurement-related issues with suppliers.
  • Maintain, report out and help drive improvements in procurement specific and supplier performance metrics/Key Performance Indicators.
  • Work with contract manufacturers on tracking Engineering Change Order implementations, component cost related data and minimizing Excess & Obsolescence exposure.
  • Help develop and drive actions to improve procurement system data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support various global component supplier relationships.
  • Support sourcing and supplier management activities as needed with procurement team members.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 - 4 years of experience in a supply chain organization or college program preferably in a high-tech or electronics manufacturing
  • An understanding of procurement and supply chain functions and their importance (MRP and purchasing, S&OP, demand and supply planning, inventory management and logistics)
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present to senior management
  • A passion for problem solving and the ability to analyze and use data in a meaningful way to drive decision making.
  • Data analysis experience using Excel, experience using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) is preferred
  • Experience working with an international supply base (especially in Asia) preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems for purchasing preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 5-10% domestically and/or internationally

Hourly rate is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring hourly rate for this position is:

$29.87 - $37.68
