As a global, fast growing company with 950+ employees, we are looking for a Controller to be a trusted advisor and business partner alongside our Chief Financial Officer and other key business leaders in all financial matters to drive fact-based decision making and enable scalable growth! The Controller will provide leadership and direction to the Accounting organization and be accountable for establishing the major financial policies, in alignment with our goals and objectives. You will continue to scale the business through innovation and data backed insights, building outstanding accounting/financial reporting policies, processes, systems, and controls globally and deliver timely and accurate decision-making information of financial results that mitigate risk and provide in- depth analysis of financial performance!
You’ll Get To:
- Provide strategic leadership over the entire accounting element of the business, including the international expansion, by leading, mentoring, and developing the accounting team to meet business goals and provide continued individual growth across the team.
- Apply business insight and commercial orientation to partners with leadership in implementing and measuring strategic plans to drive future growth and profits.
- Use your skills to communicate highly technical concepts into straightforward clear terms and partner with members of the leadership team to solve financial problems through provision of practical solutions that effectively balance business objectives with accounting rules and internal controls.
- Set a vision and drive continuous improvements and process changes vital to create consistent and lasting value across the accounting organization.
- Implement company-wide policies, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with US GAAP, various international GAAP (i.e., UK, Israel, India), US and international tax regulations, and any reporting requirements.
- Directly lead the billing, payroll and collection teams ensuring trust and collaboration across the business. Develop ambitious goals crafted to exceed business goals; track, measure and promote an environment of continuous learning and development to engage and empower the team.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including sales, operations, customer success, and legal specifically to solve complex issues and address customer needs and challenges
- Lead the day-to-day treasury responsibilities including cash management (current and future) and internal funding while also increasing interest income
- Run the audit processes (consolidated and statutory) which includes fee negotiations and adhearing to deadlines
What You’ll Need:
- Demonstrated success working within a publicly-held company and extensive knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) applications.
- Strong background of delivering accurate, timely decision making information and reports.
- Outstanding analytical, quantitative and communication (both oral and written) skills.
- Experience structuring accounting and reporting functions, as well as documenting policies and procedures and refining and implementing the necessary processes and systems to achieve scale.
- Ability to engage, encourage, and influence people at all levels in the organization.
- Proven ability to accomplish goals through partnerships built on mutual trust
- 10 + years of accounting experience and a minimum of 10 years of experience leading teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, as well as a CPA license. “Big Four” accounting firm experience is a plus.
- Consistent track record as a creative change agent.
