As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for day-to-day operational support for our sales teams. This includes daily review of deal desk/opportunities within Salesforce (SFDC), monitoring our Slack channel and responding to questions from our sales team, responding to assigned JIRA tickets, assisting with invoicing-related questions or issues, administering compensation plans, and supporting existing Sales Ops team members with additional tasks. To excel in this role, you will partner cross-functionally across the business, working with Sales, Legal, CRM Engineering, and Ops. This role requires operations and enterprise tools background, proficiency in crafting business process documentation, experience crafting and administering sales compensation programs, and in-depth CRM knowledge (Salesforce). Previous experience in media and advertising is preferred. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Sales teams to brainstorm, troubleshoot and diagnose process flow inefficiencies and work directly with Sales Ops stakeholders to push issues through to resolution.
  • Create comprehensive written process documents to effectively manage all sales operations related processes.
  • Assist in the preparation and issuing of commission statements, and other compensation-related tasks as needed
  • Review and maintain data hygiene of Salesforce opportunities, ensuring accurate pipeline forecasting and operational excellence in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Document any relevant business terms that cannot be captured by current field sets in Salesforce and work with CRM to update as needed; SFDC Hierarchy Maintenance, field and data integrity for our ever evolving business
  • Assist with end of month invoice reconciliation processes as needed.
  • Monitor and resolve Jira Board assignments of tickets, as well as our Slack channel.
  • Ad hoc sales operations tasks as needed.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in Sales Operations, background in advertising sales operations or marketing is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated proficiency in advanced spreadsheet applications
  • Experience working with sales operations tools, including IronClad and Salesforce, Salesforce certification a plus
  • Well versed in Google suite (docs, sheets, slides)
  • Attention to detail, the ability to dive into the technical or legal weeds is a must.
  • Ability to prioritize / manage work and problem solve autonomously
  • Familiarity with SQL is a plus

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $72,000 - $90,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
