Lyft is looking to add a QA Claims Analyst to ensure that we have a consistent and world class claims experience across the many partners that administer our claims domestically and internationally. You will work closely with our Risk Solution team to develop and manage the technical aspect of our claim QA program with data analytics, automating the QA process(es) and the reporting/ monitoring of QA results.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze loss runs and claim data to identify trends to establish claim initiatives and QA claim sampling methodology for core and focus audits areas
  • Develop and assist in the management of the claim initiatives/ QA audit interface which consists of file assignment, QA questionnaire(s) and scoring/ weighting of the reviews
  • Create and oversee dashboards and routine reporting of claim results to identify performance quality and trends to Lyft management and partners
  • Work with product and data science to develop models to improve or automate the claim/ QA process(es)
  • Partner with Claims Process Manager on identifying gaps in process or training

Experience:

  • 3+ years experience in data analysis, operational analytics, financial analysis, and/or dashboarding
  • 3+ years experience of claim experience and knowledge of claim handling processes
  • Experience with unique aspects of rideshare claims, commercial auto or general liability a plus
  • Program knowledge in SQL and practical experience in Mode, Looker, Tableau, or similar BI and dashboarding tool. Python and R preferred
  • Action-oriented and able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and remotely to achieve results with limited supervision
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred

The expected range of pay for this position in the US is $86,720 - $117,500. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
