Electrical Engineering Intern - Summer 2026
Lunar Outpost
As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Lunar Outpost, you will participate in the design, review, fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of numerous cutting-edge robotic systems. All interns will work directly alongside full-time engineers on real, engaging, and impactful projects, providing tangible value to Lunar Outpost products. This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Can effectively demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills, while also excelling in collaboration and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment
- Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills under pressure and in stressful situations
- Fueled by a passion for space exploration and the boundless possibilities beyond our world
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working on schematic capture and layout design
- Experience soldering
- Experience using simple test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
Mid-May (May 18, 2026) to early August (August 7, 2026). Start and end dates are flexible with the intern's school schedule. In-person, Monday - Friday in Arvada, Colorado.
