The Senior Sourcing Manager for the two-wheel shared mobility industry is responsible for leading the strategic sourcing and supply chain management of key components, systems, and technologies required for the company's two-wheel micro-mobility solutions (e-bikes, e-scooters, etc.). This includes identifying innovative solutions in the areas of electronic control systems, motor and drive systems, sensor and IoT technologies, battery management systems, lightweight design, satellite positioning systems, riding safety solutions, and smart recognition systems.
What you’ll do:
Closely monitor industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes to understand their impact on the micro-mobility domain, and conduct forward-looking supply chain sourcing aligned with the company's product roadmap and technology strategy.
Develop and implement the strategic procurement roadmap for the company's two-wheel micro-mobility platforms, ensuring alignment with the overall business and technology strategy.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard global best-in-class suppliers to provide key components, sub-systems, and supporting technologies (e.g., electronic control units, IoT/telematics systems, battery management systems).
Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, and product teams to provide strategic sourcing support for the development and integration of new technologies.
Negotiate favorable commercial terms, including pricing, lead times, quality assurance, service level agreements, and intellectual property.
Leverage data analysis and market intelligence to drive fact-based decision-making, identify emerging technology trends, and optimize sourcing strategies.
About you:
Bachelor’'s degree or above in electronic engineering, supply chain management, or a relevant technical discipline.
8+ years of strategic procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management experience in the electronics, automotive, or high-tech mobility solutions industries.
Excellent negotiation, contract management, and commercial acumen, with the ability to navigate complex global supply networks.
Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Fluency in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and suppliers.
Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
Preferred Experience:
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Track record of successfully identifying, on-boarding, and managing suppliers in global technology-driven supply chains.
Deep understanding of emerging technology trends, regulatory dynamics, and best practices in the two-wheel shared mobility and transportation sectors.
Specialized expertise in sourcing innovative solutions in areas such as electronic control systems, motor and drive systems, sensor and IoT technologies, battery management systems, lightweight design, satellite positioning systems, riding safety solutions, and smart recognition systems.
