KSAT is the world's leading commercial satellite centre based in Tromsø. KSAT develops and supplies data, information and services based on satellites, and we have customers all over the world. We have over 400 employees located in Tromsø, Svalbard, Stockholm and Oslo. KSAT has stations and antennas all over the world, from Tromsø and Svalbard in the north, via Panama, Singapore and South Africa, to the Troll station in Antarctica in the far south. The number of customers and ground stations is constantly growing, and this strong growth means that we now need new employees.

KSAT is looking for passionate people to join our Ground Network Customer Success teams

The positions are a part of a newly established department within KSAT, so you will have the opportunity of shaping your workday and tasks. We want to weigh personal aptitude, and interests in the development and initialisation of the department.

You will have an important role when it comes to building and maintaining good relations with customers, as well as contribution to the development of KSATs services, based on your insight into future and existing needs and demands. This means you will have to keep up to date with KSATs existing and coming services, and acquire knowledge about, and understanding of our internal and external products and systems.

Sales support & Customer experience

We seek someone with an engineering background that is passionate about Space and want to be part of shaping the Ground Station as a Service future. The Mandate of the Customer Success Sales support & Customer Experience team is to actively support the account managers throughout the sales process with technical support and obtain a comprehensive understanding of the customer needs to ensure that the customer may derive the maximum value from KSATs Ground Network services. You will be an important link between KSAT and the customer and function as a resource both internally and externally. You will be a customer facing representative of KSAT both in initial meetings as well as in ExPos and conferences.

Onboarding

The Customer Success Onboarding team ensures effective customer onboarding on KSAT standardized services. This to enable customers to start using our services quickly and easy. We now have available positions as Customer Success Manager and Customer Success Engineer.

Customer Success Manager

As a Customer Success Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer relations within your portfolio. This includes overseeing customer onboarding processes for our standardized services, conducting regular check-ins, and collecting feedback to ensure satisfaction. You will also handle renewal management and performance monitoring, which involves maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, feedback, and progress. In this role, you will manage multiple customers of varying sizes and serve as the voice of the customer internally, sharing valuable customer insights with relevant teams to enhance service delivery

Customer Success Engineer

As a Customer Success Engineer, you will contribute with technical support during the early sales phase, helping to clarify customer needs and aligning them with the appropriate solutions.
You will be responsible for integrating and operationalize customers on KSAT standardized ground station solutions. This role involves Radio Frequency Compatibility testing (RFCT) with our customers, configuring, and verifying backend systems to ensure optimal performance. You will also implement new technical solutions and services as they arise and support new missions during the Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP). Furthermore, it is essential to prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, system descriptions, and procedures to facilitate ongoing operations and customer understanding.


Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc within an engineering field. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education
  • Experience from project management / customer relations
  • Excellent verbal and written ability in English (preferable Norwegian as well)
  • Interest for technology, satellites and space. Former work or educational experience is positive.
