Kongsberg Satellite Services AS [KSAT] is a growing company in an exciting industry. The growth of the space industry is enormous, and the possibilities are endless. That is why we need you.

We are looking for new colleagues who will be given key positions to further develop the market for KSAT in Europe by being part of the Ground Network [GN] Europe Sales Team. The positions will focus on the sales of KSAT Ground Network Services to satellite owners and operators in the European Region.

You will play a central part in major projects and be an important asset to all the sales processes.

We cannot promise we will send you to space, but you will get the opportunity to build KSAT’s position in the European Region and be challenged by a diverse group of customers and partners.

As a Sales Manager you will have the following responsibilities:

· Develop and strengthen relationships with both existing customers and new prospects through dialogue with Management and Project Managers.

· Take the lead to prepare proposals, together with KSAT Project Managers and Bid Team.

· Negotiate and close profitable new contracts for KSAT.

· Working actively to ensure sales targets and budgets are met.

· Extensive travel to build customer relations and participate at industry events in Europe.

· Coordinate information between the various KSAT offices and across all departments.

We are looking for you that have good knowledge and experience of doing business in Europe. You will be exposed to different countries and cultures, and it is therefore important that you know how to build trust and create strong relations with our customers. This role requires strong English skills, written and verbally. Other European languages, written and verbally, will also be an asset.

The Ground Network [GN] Europe Sales Team is a small team with close collaboration. Therefore, good chemistry and great cooperation is essential. In the team we help each other, whether that is a joint process, identifying trends in the market, or developing partnerships with key customers.
