This role will lead a small team of People Partners and work closely with regional and global stakeholders to deliver a high-impact people strategy. From coaching leaders and supporting performance management, to aligning rewards with performance and driving learning initiatives—this role plays a critical part in creating an exceptional employee experience while supporting business growth.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on HR expertise with strong leadership capability and a collaborative mindset. You’ll bring a deep understanding of UK and US employment practices and the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders across the business.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategic Partnering
- Lead and coach the People Partnering team across the UK and US, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with Kpler’s global People strategy
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leaders, guiding performance, engagement, and change efforts while proactively addressing organisational challenges and presenting solutions.
- Partner closely with cross-functional leaders to drive alignment between business objectives and people outcomes, ensuring scalable and sustainable growth.
- Support business growth by advising on workforce planning, team development, and talent initiatives.
- Performance, L&D & Employee Development
- Partner with the L&D team to co-develop and implement training programs for managers and employees.
- Drive a culture of feedback and high performance, ensuring performance cycles are embedded and aligned with business goals.
- Promote career development and continuous learning through data-driven interventions and support tools.
- Support employee retention by identifying engagement and development opportunities, addressing attrition risks proactively, and aligning growth paths with business needs.
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Oversee complex employee relations cases, partnering with Legal & Compliance where necessary.
- Ensure employment practices across the UK and US are fully compliant with local laws and internal policies.
- Support regional immigration and mobility processes in partnership with external providers and internal stakeholders.
- Reward Alignment & Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with the Rewards & Benefits team to ensure that compensation practices are competitive, compliant, and tied to performance outcomes.
- Contribute to annual compensation reviews and assist in embedding pay transparency and equity across the regions.
- Leverage feedback from employees and leaders to identify gaps, assess reward effectiveness, and inform continuous improvement in total rewards strategy
- People Ops, Projects & Analytics
- Partner with People Ops to ensure seamless employee experiences across the full employee lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement of People processes, leveraging feedback and data to enhance effectiveness.
- Use People analytics to identify trends, support decision-making, and develop targeted solutions to improve engagement, retention, and team effectiveness.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or other relevant fields
- +8 years of professional experience in Human Resources, including 3 years partnering directly with senior management.
- In-depth knowledge of UK and US employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven track record of effectively partnering with senior leaders in fast-paced, hybrid, and globally matrixes organisations.
- Strong analytical mindset and confidence using data to guide decisions and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to adapt across cultures and seniority levels.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity, scaling processes, and balancing strategic and operational priorities.
- Located in or near London, with the ability to work from the office at least once per week.
