SUMMARY
The NDT Supervisor leads successful completion of non-destructive evaluation/testing (NDT) of aerospace composite products. Responsible for production testing criteria, equipment, methodology and, in coordination with a NDT Level 3, specification development for acceptance tests.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises team and carries out responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains the workflow by monitoring the various steps in the process, understanding the inventory levels compared to customer orders, and managing the production schedule
- Lead root cause and corrective action of NDT related MRB events to eliminate repetitive rework and continuously improve existing techniques balancing technical product, cost, and schedule
- Position will interact with Quality Team and supplier when nonconformities are identified
- Plans and coordinates necessary maintenance operations with maintenance supervisor
- Establish standards to ensure robust process control in the manufacture of the facility's aerospace composite components.
- Assumes lead role in all departmental internal, customer and/or regulatory audits, ensuring that:
- Procedures are up to date and meet all regulatory and customer requirements
- Maintain records confirming all NDT certifications are current and valid
- Maintain records ensuring that NDT staff certifications are current and hours are logged.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical curriculum; or combination of a technical associate degree and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered as an alternative to BS degree
- Prior aerospace experience in NDT and quality systems related to working with advanced composites in manufacturing
- Ability to read, speak and write in English.
