The primary responsibility of the Accounts Payable Clerk is to support the Accounts Payable process by receiving and processing invoices, reconciling company credit cards, filing bills, and providing other administrative support as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Processes vendor payments, monitors applicable discounts, applies required sales tax, verifies federal ID numbers
  • Maintains vendor accounts and credit card accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
  • Identifies and resolves discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices
  • Verifies and posts account transactions, maintains and updates company ledgers
  • Interacts effectively with vendors for account reconciliation and payment processing
  • Maintains company confidentiality

What We Are Looking For

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Required Experience: >2 years in office admin, including Accounts Payable experience, MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), 10-Key skills
  • Proven ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment
