SUMMARY

The Senior Operations Analyst is responsible for the ownership, governance, and optimization of financial data, reporting, and processes within EPICOR ERP and related systems. This role serves as the functional and strategic lead for Finance within Business Systems, ensuring alignment between Finance, Operations, and executive leadership. This position acts as the primary bridge between Finance, Operations, and Business Systems, driving standardization of financial processes, enabling accurate and timely executive reporting, and ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX, and DCMA/DCAA requirements. The role is highly hands-on, combining deep manufacturing finance expertise with advanced ERP knowledge to deliver scalable, audit-ready solutions. Reports to the Director of Business Systems

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • EPICOR Finance Governance: Responsible for and drives Finance within EPICORERP (Kinetic), including General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory, Purchasing, A/P, and Advanced Requisition Management processes. Emphasis on data integrity and traceability from source transactions.

  • Define Global Processes: Establish and enforce standardized financial processes, data structures, and system usage aligned with best practices and organizational goals.

  • Establish Executive Reporting Standards: Revenue bridges (Customer/Program vs Budget), Revenue reporting by customer, Financial Flash Reporting, and other key reports.

  • Cross-Functional Cooperation: Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Operations, and Business Systems, aligning business needs with system capabilities and driving adoption.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy, forecasting and budgeting process, close cycle efficiency, and cost and operational visibility.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Preferred: 5+ with EPICOR ERP (Kinetic preferred)
  • MBA and/or CMA certification
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance (aerospace/defense preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders and increase shareholder value in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and audit environments (DCAA/DCMA).
  • Must be a U.S Citizen
