Although officially classified under the job title Receiving Clerk, this position includes driving and delivery responsibilities in addition to standard receiving and warehouse tasks. The individual in this dual-role position is responsible for the accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials, as well as the safe and timely transport of goods between company facilities, vendors, and customers.

RECEIVING DUTIES
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Check deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
- Accurately document received materials in the inventory management system (e.g., ERP).
- Label, sort, and store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Load and unload material deliveries, routing materials to the correct locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area and warehouse.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Inventory teams to ensure compliance and traceability.
- Assist with monthly inventory counts.
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport parts, materials, and equipment between facilities, suppliers, and customers.
- Load and unload cargo while ensuring proper handling of aerospace components.
- Follow scheduled delivery routes and maintain timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Analyze delivery addresses, determine appropriate routes, and maintain the delivery schedule.
- Ensure all shipping/delivery paperwork is accurate and properly completed.
- Obtain customer/vendor signatures when required.
- Practice safe driving habits and comply with local and state driving laws and regulations.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Report mechanical issues or vehicle safety concerns to the Maintenance department.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization.
While certain employees may be assigned as the primary driver to lead delivery operations, all individuals in this role are expected to perform both receiving and driving duties as required to support the team and business needs.
Other Duties
- Notify supervisor of any delivery or receiving issues or discrepancies.
- Allocate returned products to proper locations.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (green card holder) or other status as a U.S. Person)
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English
- High school diploma
- Valid driver’s license required with a clean motor vehicle record (minor violations may be considered).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or driving roles preferred.
- Experience with ERP/inventory systems preferred.
- Forklift certification or experience (on-site certification available).
- Familiarity with delivery navigation tools and route planning.
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, certain positions may require applicants to be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.
- 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.
