About the Role
JustPark is looking for an experienced User Interface (UI) Designer to join the product design team and build a world-class parking product. This role would suit someone who is confident in delivering high quality design work and bringing in insightful opinions to a cross-functional team.

What do we need from you?
Design process - You have solid knowledge of product development cycle, and have experience of dealing with complex product challenges and delivering features
Design system - You are confident in developing and implementing complex design systems and supporting multiple streams of delivery. Be familiar with the latest innovations in design system thinking such as tokenisation, variants, dev mode etc
Typography - You have an in-depth understanding of typographical principles when applied to web and app design
UI - You have an excellent eye for design and have strong visual design skills, you are able to create high quality and appealing designs
Prototyping - You will be able to create interactive prototypes, it’s a great way to test and communicate ideas
Industry - You are aware of industry trends and developments which will be helpful in delivering a state of the art UI for JustPark
Delivery - Work with product owners to ensure timely delivery of UI elements
Innovation - Work collaboratively with the product team and be a key contributor to design innovation
What are your responsibilities?
You will be working collaboratively with the product, design and engineering team throughout all stages. You are a contributor to a good design process and ways of working, you raise the bar and inspire the team to push boundaries within an open environment.
- Play a key role in defining design direction and approaches
- Be instrumental in building the next generation design system that will help us expand globally
- Contribute and lead on design direction and interaction development
- Design interaction prototypes which can be used by the product team for research and product development
- Deliver high quality and polished designs, own design reviews and be open minded with feedback and critiques
- Partner closely with other designers at Justpark and the engineering team to ensure consistency and excellence of design standards
- Work closely with the brand team to align product and brand vision
