Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned HR leader to join as our People & Culture Manager. In this key role, you will oversee the entire employee lifecycle, enhance the employee experience, foster leadership development, and partner closely with senior management to align the People strategy with business objectives.
Reporting to the Administrative & Finance Director, the People & Culture Manager will play a strategic role in advancing the organization through its next phase of transformation and growth. The role demands a combination of hands-on operational ability and strategic leadership, within a fast-paced, international, and innovation-driven environment. Role will lead the EU HR team including a Senior Talent Acquisition Officer and Junior HR Generalist.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve HR strategies across the full talent lifecycle: acquisition, development, engagement, succession, and retention.
- Act as a senior advisor, business partner, and thought partner to leadership on organizational design, talent management, workforce planning, and leadership development.
- Oversee HR operations: compliance, payroll oversight, benefits, compensation benchmarking, and reporting.
- Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture that reflects ispace’s values and mission.
- Develop and drive initiatives in learning and development, leadership training, and soft skills programs.
- Build and execute employee engagement, wellbeing, and CSR initiatives.
- Collaborate with Group HR functions globally (Japan, US) to ensure alignment and shared best practices.
- Leverage HR technologies and analytics for proactive decision-making and organizational improvement.
- Manage and develop the European HR team, fostering team growth and capabilities.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
- 10+ years of broad HR leadership experience, preferably in dynamic, scaling environments (startups, tech, or innovative sectors).
- Proven track record in strategic HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, Organizational Development, and HR Operations.
- Strong experience with international environments and multicultural workforces
- Familiarity with Luxembourg labor law and regulatory compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with experience in using KPIs and HR analytics to drive decisions.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) and modern HR tools.
- Experience in payroll vendor management and HR project leadership.
