ispace US is looking for a highly motivated and talented DevOps/Software Test Engineer to join its new team.

Key Responsibilities
- Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Design and execute tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software systems
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and identify potential issues
- Identify and document defects and issues found during testing.
- Working with software developers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Planning projects and being involved in project management decisions
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field. We will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
- 5+ years relevant experience in spacecraft and/or launch vehicle software development
- Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
- Experience with Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) software test beds
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
- Experience with Bash scripting
- Experience with Linux network management
- Experience with network debugging
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Problem-solving attitude
- Collaborative team spirit
Preferred qualifications
- Demonstrates professional experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft software systems
- Experience with spacecraft embedded C/C++ flight software, found test software, and simulation software.
- Ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced collaborative interdisciplinary team environment
- Software quality practices associated with the organization like NASA, FAA, etc.
- Capable of working both independently and in a team environment
- Strong coordination, organization and communication abilities
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced design and development environment
- Schedule may vary depending on program development needs; flexibility required
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary based upon experience - $110,000 - $140,000. The salary range posted is a targeted range for budget of position. Base compensation can be negotiated and will be commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.
