Euro2Moon is seeking a highly motivated and talented Market Analyst Intern to join our team for a Market Demand Study on Lunar Resources (ISRU).
Euro2Moon is an initiative focused on advancing Europe's leadership in the cis-lunar economy by fostering collaboration between public and private sectors to sustainably explore and utilize lunar resources. The organization aims to create a robust European industrial ecosystem, increase funding and development efforts, and provide a platform for exchanging ideas to build a common industrial roadmap for space resource value chains. This initiative is positioned to inspire global collaboration and sustainability in space and on Earth.
ispace Europe, the regional office of ispace inc., is a founding member of Euro2Moon. For this internship, ispace Europe is supporting Euro2Moon with the recruiting (as the legal employer) of the intern and the hosting of the intern at ispace Europe’s location. The intern will be assigned to Euro2Moon projects only.
About the Internship: This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in market research and financial modeling for Lunar resources and ISRU (Market demand). The intern will be primarily funded and supervised by Euro2Moon while working collaboratively with both Euro2Moon and ispace Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, demand, and end-users of space (lunar) resources.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from both Euro2Moon and ispace Europe to support the development of the ISRU Market Demand Study.
  • Stay updated on industry news, developments, and regulatory changes affecting the space sector.
  • Engage with different companies across Europe, Asia, and the USA via video calls or in person.
  • Conduct surveys, identify key contacts, and conduct interviews.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and execute complex tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Display professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills, maintaining a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Demonstrate experience in market data processing, and market data analysis.
  • Adapt easily to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Be proactive in identifying market trends and demand.
  • Possess or quickly learn market analysis techniques, including machine learning and other data science methods.
  • Have experience in documenting market data definitions and writing accessible reports.
  • Show keen intellectual curiosity about market trends and industry developments.
  • Excel in the organization and execution of complex tasks.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills relevant to market data acquisition and analysis.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s student in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, needing a 6-month or 1-year internship as part of your studies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Interest in the space industry, ISRU and emerging technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data.
  • Prior experience in market resources research or analysis is a plus.
  • Prior experience in ISRU is a plus.
